The mass spectrometry center has three mass spectrometers available. There is a Thermo LTQ-FTMS, which is a mass spectrometer capable of high resolution using electrospray or APCI.  The instrument was upgraded to a LTQ-FTMS Ultra.  It also has a Thermo Exactive Plus that is used for exact mass measurements.  These instruments are operated by mass spectrometry center personal and trained users. A 4700 Proteomics analyzers is available for walk up service with a little training.
