Research in organic chemistry at Emory addresses a broad array of fundamental problems, including investigations at the frontiers of organic synthesis, medicinal chemistry, bioorganic chemistry, and materials science. Research is carried out in a dynamic environment that includes collaborations with researchers in the School of Medicine and the Emerson Center for Scientific Computation to further our understanding of molecular reactivity in organic, organometallic, and biological systems.
